“Geometry”

On the deserted narrow streets of Venice
A silence, wearing winged kohl of dim lights
Touches her swollen lips ecstatically
The coarse night has feasted upon them
And left an unearthly gleam of dewy solitude
Drunk on midnight freedom
The soundless void exudes the solitary charms of an untouched forest,
Escorts me through the unlit clamorous
Alleys of an ancient ache
The voracious vastness of silence

engulfs my soul my tremors
And we tumble & gallop
Words of agony unfurl their burdened tendrils
And latch onto the orchestra of the chosen quietude
A shallow flame of nonchalance
Dances in the auric candelabra of life
